The Auckland Wooden Boat Festival will feature a collection of more than 160 real-life, genuine work boats, yachts and launches. Get up close to some of Auckland’s most interesting and valuable stories in our festival marina. There is no cost to enter!

From boat rides to sailing experiences, we have dinghies, steam boats and Coastal rowing boats on standby to give you a taste of sailing and boating.
You’ll have the opportunity to travel between the New Zealand Maritime Museum and the Festival site on the Steam Boat PUKE
Films and Speakers
Partnering with the New Zealand Maritime Museum on the Speaker Programme and Festival of Film. This is an opportunity to learn more about the stories, the theory and the detail from experts and specialists in their field.
